“ Delicious Indian food! Great options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat eaters. We stopped in for lunch on a whim after walking by and noticing the classic marigold garlands outside. Super clean and nice in there with simple but pretty Indian décor. They also had soft religious music on which contributed to the calm atmosphere. Our server was extremely polite and attentive. We started with the chicken samosa app. These are full size, not minis and the order came with two which was perfect. You can tell these were freshly made because they were super crisp on the outside. The accompanied chutneys were good but I wish the green was a little more refreshing. We also shared the lamb saag (which comes with rice), and a garlic naan. Everything was presented nicely and the portion was generous enough that we had leftovers to take home (yay!) Please if you come here, order family style! Bathrooms were super clean as well. Would recommend! ”
“ Probably one of the best flavored Indian spots I've been to here! I'm a fan of super spicy food and this def exceeded expectations. They do warm you that the vindaloo chicken is spicy but believe me, it's extremely spicy. I have a pretty good tolerance level and this was def up there. It's def flavorful so you will def keep eating. The curry is also great! Ask for raita to help cool your palette if you need and def try the gulab Jamun! One thing to make this spot perfect would be that they offered drinks but it is byob which is great! ”
“ The service here is amazing - we arrived without a reservation and were told the wait would be about an hour and a half. We were ready to leave and come back another day when they told us if we could eat within an hour we could have a table - not a problem cause we're fast eaters! The pre-fix is such a good deal, app, entree and dessert for ~$27. The chicken samosa was hands down one of the best ones I've had in a minute - and the Chicken makhani was deliciously spicy and perfectly seasoned. Also want to note that the waiters here were some of the most attentive ones in a while - my cup of water was constantly being topped off and we were always being checked on. Cannot wait to return here and try more of the delicious food. ”
“ It's hard to believe it's been a year since I've been here. It was so nice that the manager Bithi and Ram were able to remembered me after all this time! It's important for me to say that any neighborhood restaurant should come here for schooling on how to properly take care of a customer. I can honestly say that outside of some select hi end restaurants like Daniel or Le Bernadin, in Manhattan, it's hard to find a restaurant who's entire staff is so polite, attentive and makes you feel like a true guest. It's a BYOB restaurant, it usually gets busy at night. I don't know what I can say to emphasis how great everything was, that I already said in my last review. We had the Atithi special platter, shrimp curry, Nan bread and Bithi prepared a special version of her chicken curry and grilled chicken for me to try. I was very impressed and very full. The food is authentic, fresh, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. At the end of the meal, Bithi came over to share some personal stories about her goals and aspirations for the restaurant. She really understands customers and customer service. Never once did anyone push anything on us. Just like every restaurant there are a few Yelp or Google reviews that were low stars. Customer perception is reality. I can only tell you that Bithi appreciates the customer feedback and will work to overcome any challenges customers bring to her attention in the reviews. She really "owns it", which was so nice to see. I would highly recommend this restaurant and say without a doubt it's one of the best all around Indian restaurants I have been to period. ”
“ Delicious food & amazing service! I did not get the name of our waiter but he was amazing. I went two weeks ago and I've been craving their chicken masala, samosas & chutney every since! Keep in mind that the spice is real hunny - I'm Jamaican so I'm accustomed to super spicy food but their food is spicy spicy. I LOVED it but just wanted to give a warning lol. 10/10 recommend Also, it's BYOB! ”
